Dental Marketing in Germany
Dental marketing in Germany is shaped by two things: how patients pay and how strictly health advertising is regulated. Most patients are in statutory health insurance, which covers basic care but leaves a big personal share for implants, crowns and aesthetic treatment. Those are the treatments worth advertising, and they're also the ones where German law watches most closely what you say.
G-Media.AI has worked only with dental clinics since 2017. This page is in English for practice owners and managers who prefer it. Your patient-facing ads and landing pages run in German. Here's how we'd approach your practice in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Cologne, Frankfurt or anywhere else in Germany.
What makes the German market different
Statutory versus private patients. Patients with statutory insurance (GKV) usually pay a large share of implants and high-end prosthetics themselves, with a fixed subsidy towards standard dentures and crowns. Privately insured patients (PKV) are billed under the GOZ fee schedule. We split campaigns by treatment and make costs and payment options clear, because that's what patients ask about first.
German first. Patients search in German, and the ads and landing pages they see must be in natural German. The German copy is written by advanced AI copywriting agents that write like native speakers, and your team approves it before launch. In Berlin, Munich and Frankfurt we can add English campaigns for international residents looking for an English-speaking dentist.
Detail-oriented patients. German patients often research thoroughly, compare practices and read reviews before booking. Clear information, real photos of your team and fast, precise replies matter more than flashy offers.
Regional competition. Big cities are crowded, while many smaller towns have few practices advertising at all. We look at your area before suggesting a budget.
The rules we work within in Germany
German health advertising law, the Heilmittelwerbegesetz (HWG), restricts how treatments can be promoted to the public. One example: before-and-after images for cosmetic surgical procedures without medical need are banned in advertising to the public, and in July 2025 the Federal Court of Justice confirmed this also covers minimally invasive treatments such as hyaluronic fillers. Where a given aesthetic dental treatment falls isn't always clear-cut, so we check it case by case. On top of the HWG, each state's dental chamber (Zahnärztekammer) has professional rules that apply to how dentists present themselves, and competition law (UWG) bans misleading claims.
Germany is also one of the strictest countries in Europe for cookies and tracking. Under the TDDDG and GDPR, non-essential tracking needs consent first, so we set up your website tracking and ad conversion data to respect the cookie banner, and we plan campaigns knowing some conversions won't be measured.
So our German campaigns leave out before-and-after images unless they're clearly allowed, make no promises about results, and keep tracking consent-based. You approve every ad, and your practice stays responsible for its compliance.
Time zones, calls and pricing
Germany is one hour behind us in Varna, Bulgaria, all year, so 9 am in Berlin is 10 am here. Calls fit neatly into the same working day. Proposals and ad budgets are quoted in euro, and you pay ad spend directly to Google and Meta on your own card.

Frequently asked questions
Will our ads be in German?
Yes. Patient-facing ads and landing pages run in German. The copy is written by advanced AI copywriting agents that write like native German speakers, and your team approves it before launch. English campaigns for international residents can run alongside them, and our AI chat replies to patients in German or English.
Can we use before-and-after photos?
For cosmetic procedures without medical need, often not. Where aesthetic dental treatment falls isn't always clear-cut, so we check any image use with you before it runs, and build campaigns around your team, your process and patient feedback instead.
How do you handle cookie consent?
Tracking that isn't strictly necessary only runs after a visitor agrees. We set up your tracking that way and plan campaigns around the data that's available.
How much does dental marketing in Germany cost?
You pay ad spend directly to Google and Meta, plus our monthly management fee. There's no public price list. You'll get a written proposal in euro after the call.
Is there a long contract?
No. Flexible monthly packages. Only the implant consult programme has a 3-month minimum.
